Accessibility Statement

Fed By Nature wants everyone to be able to shop with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnifiers or other assistive tools.

Our goal

We are working to make fedbynature.com meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities.

What we have done so far

  • Reviewed our website with automated testing tools and keyboard-only checks in October 2026.
  • Darkened sale prices and other light text, and made product counts and customer quote names easier to read.
  • Gave the add to cart button on phones and the logo link at the top of each page a spoken name.
  • Added a text description to our main homepage photo.
  • Added a link to this statement in the footer of every page.

Known limitations

We know some parts of our website still need work. Here is what we are still fixing:

  • Some hidden items, such as slides and menu panels, can still be reached with the Tab key.
  • A few images, including one picture with words in it, do not have text descriptions yet.
  • The banner at the top of each page changes on its own, is read out again each time it changes, and cannot be paused. The moving strip on our homepage cannot be paused either.
  • The video on our beef liver treats page plays on its own and has no captions or controls.
  • Some menus, slideshows, lists and the cart table have structure problems for screen readers.
  • Some scrolling areas cannot be reached with the keyboard alone.
  • Our collection and search pages do not have a main heading, and some heading levels skip.

Some features on our site come from outside companies, including Recharge. When we find a problem in one of those tools, we report it to the company that makes it and ask for a fix.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of our website is hard to use, please let us know. We will help you get what you need and work to fix the problem.

It helps if you tell us the page you were on and what happened. We will reply within 2 business days.
